Welcome to Turbine
Turbine is an online design platform that empowers our users to create video advertisements using video templates and editing tools featuring artificial intelligence capabilities. This Privacy Policy describes how we and our digital properties, website, marketing activities, and live events (collectively, the "Service" or "Services") collect, use, share, and process information, including Personal Data (defined below), about you when you contact us or otherwise use Turbine.
Turbine may provide additional or supplemental privacy policies to individuals for specific products or services that we offer at the time we collect personal information.

Information We Collect
When you download, access, and use the Turbine Services, we collect the following information from you, including information that, whether alone or in combination, can be used to identify you ("Personal Data"):
- Profile Information: When you register and first use the Services, we will ask you for your email address, first and last name, billing and mailing addresses, phone number, username, and password. We may also collect other information in connection with the Services such as biographical details, links to social profiles, and marketing preferences. For example, we may collect your birthdate, age, or gender in order to guard against individuals under the age of 18 using the Services. We may also allow you to log into the Services using your account information in connection with certain social media sites such as Facebook, Google, and Twitter ("Social Media Services").
- User Generated Content and Multimedia Data: When you use the Services, you will be able to save or post, upload, and process text, images, video clips, GIFs, designs, audio, or other similar media as well as associated metadata (such as keywords, formatting history, and geographical location information). Videos, images, audio and other data uploaded to your Turbine account may be made available outside of the Turbine Services, including through third party social media services. BY REGISTERING FOR OR USING THE SERVICES OR AGREEING TO THE TERMS OF THIS PRIVACY POLICY YOU CONSENT TO THE MONITORING AND/OR RECORDING OF ANY AUDIO OR VIDEO RECORDINGS MADE, SHARED, OR TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH THE SERVICES, AND HEREBY WAIVE ANY NOTIFICATION REQUIREMENT AT THE TIME SUCH RECORDING TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED UNDER APPLICABLE LAW.
- Query and Prompt Data: We collect commands, descriptions, comments, questions, messages, and other content or information that you generate, transmit, or otherwise make available through our platform and demos, as well as associated metadata.
- Transactional and Payment Data: We collect information relating to your orders or transaction history. Payment card data needed to complete transactions is collected and stored securely by our third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) and not by Turbine directly.
- Data from Social Media Sites and Third-Party Sources: We will collect certain Personal Data from Social Media Services or public platforms when you log into, link, or sync your Turbine account. This information may include Personal Data that you have given to the social media site including name, profile photo, username, and email address. Our use of data from third-party APIs (such as Google) will adhere to those platforms' user data and limited use policies.
- Automatically Collected Data: When you interact with the Turbine Services, we, our service providers, and our business partners may automatically log information about you, your computer, or mobile device over time, including:
- Device Data: Operating system type and version, manufacturer, browser type, screen resolution, RAM/disk size, IP address, unique advertising identifiers and general location data (city/state).
- Online Activity Data: Pages/screens viewed, duration of stay, navigation paths, access duration, and previous website visits, facilitated by cookies and pixel tags.
- Communication Interaction Data: Whether you open or forward our emails, tracked via pixel tags (clear GIFs).
YOU SHOULD NOT PROVIDE US WITH ANY CONFIDENTIAL, SENSITIVE, UNLICENSED PROPRIETARY, OR BIOMETRIC INFORMATION THROUGH THE SERVICE.
How We Use The Information We Collect
We use the information that we collect for the following purposes:
- To Provide the Turbine Services and Personalize Experience: We use the information we collect to provide you the Turbine Services, including editing tools, export functionality, to establish your account, enable security features, provide customer support, remember your workflow preferences, and personalize your interactions with our service.
- Service Improvement, Analytics, and AI Training: We use your personal information, user-shared text, multimedia data, queries, and prompt data to analyze usage, develop new services, and train our machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence models.
- To Connect with Social Media Sites: We use these connections to help you upload your user content to these platforms, or to help us learn more about Turbine users. The Profile Information we give to and receive from the Social Media Services is governed by their privacy policy. We do not control the data privacy practices of Social Media Services.
- To Communicate with You and Direct Marketing: We may use your Profile Information to communicate with you including to tell you about services, updates, security alerts, administrative messages, or other apps, games and offers we believe will be of interest to you. You may opt-out of marketing communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions.
- Compliance and Protection: To comply with applicable laws, respond to subpoenas or legal processes, protect rights/safety, audit internal compliance, and prevent cyberattacks, fraud, or illegal activity.
- Aggregated, De-Identified, or Anonymized Data: We may compile and remove identifiable elements from your data to create aggregated data sets. We may use and share this anonymized data with third parties for any lawful business purpose indefinitely.
Retention
We retain personal information to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, satisfying legal, financial, or compliance requirements. When data is no longer needed, we securely delete, anonymize, or isolate it. Specific content deletion rules apply as described in the account termination section below.
How We Share Information
We share information that we collect, including Personal Data as described below:
- Business Transfers: In the event of a corporate sale, merger, reorganization, financing due diligence, public stock offering, receivership, dissolution, insolvency, or bankruptcy, your information, including Personal Data, may be disclosed or transferred to a successor or affiliate as part of our business assets.
- Agents, Consultants, and Service Providers: We engage third-party vendors and affiliates to perform functions on our behalf, such as hosting portion of the Turbine Service, maintaining databases, delivering content, sending emails, website analytics, consumer research, running ads, processing speech, or processing payments. We share information with these vendors as necessary for them to provide these services on our behalf.
- Other Users and the Public: If you choose to make your profile, reviews, comments, user-shared multimedia data, or associated prompt data visible to others, this information can be seen, collected, screen-captured, or cached by other users or public search engines. We are not responsible for how others use this public data.
- Legal Requirements: We may disclose information about you if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation or lawful government requests, (ii) protect and defend the rights or property of Turbine, (iii) act in urgent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users or the public, (iv) protect against legal liability, or (v) enforce our Terms and Conditions.
- With Your Consent: We may otherwise share or disclose information, including your Personal Data, with partners or third parties where you have instructed us or provided your consent to do so.
Your Choices, Deletion, and Account Closure
You may review and update your account details by logging in. Most web browsers allow you to manage cookies and clear GIFs through settings.
Should you ever decide to delete your Turbine account or specific uploaded content, you may do so by contacting us at support@turbine.team.
- Content Removal: Content deleted from your active account may remain on active servers for 30 days before moving to database backup copies.
- Account Closure: If you close your account, your data will become immediately inaccessible and fully purged or anonymized from our systems within 90 days. This applies to manual closures and auto-canceled accounts.
- Exceptions: Retention periods may be extended if required for legal purposes, such as litigation holds or law enforcement requests.
Third Party Sites
This Privacy Policy applies only to the Services. The Services may contain links to other web sites or applications not operated or controlled by us (the "Third Party Sites"). The policies and procedures we described here do not apply to the Third Party Sites. The links from the Services do not imply that we endorse or have reviewed the Third Party Sites. We suggest contacting those sites directly for information on their privacy policies.
International Users and Data Transfers
By using the Services, you acknowledge, note and agree that you are consenting to the transfer of your information to the United States and the processing of your information globally. Your personal information may be processed in countries where privacy laws are not as protective as your local jurisdiction.
Security
We employ a number of technical, organizational, and physical safeguards designed to protect the personal information we collect. However, the Internet cannot be guaranteed to be 100% secure, and we cannot warrant or guarantee the security of any information that you provide to us.

We reserve the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time. We will post all changes to this Privacy Policy on this page and will indicate at the top of the page the modified policy's effective date, or notify you by other appropriate means. Any changes we make to this Privacy Policy will be effective immediately upon posting and your continued use of the service indicates acknowledgement and agreement to the modified policy.
